Megasquirt PNP anyone?

Sorry to see you're getting rid of the Miata, Christian. What happened to the engine?

Good luck on the sale. DIY Autotune definately has a good product.

Thanks for axing Kev! (As they say in the ATL.) Shortnose crank issues caught up. I love the car and definitely got my 1000$ worth of happiness out of her over 2 years.... but I have to admit the E46 is a more fun and friendly daily driver.... and more thrusty than the Miater unless I dump a lot of money into her.

That said, no car friends out here I've made is the main deal breaker. Just too busy with work to make car friends. Have ex-gf I'm on completely friendly terms with and occasionally lets me drive her Boxster so not entirely sports-car-less!

Do you still have the Miata? The $2009 GRM Challenge will be in your neck of the woods *hint* *hint* *nudge* *nudge*.

LOL. He'd definitely get caught. The only ways to really hide a new ECU would make it legal anyway. :D

Do they lift the carpet and check during tech? How can you make it legal, if it was in the stock case?

Yeah it's got to fit in the stock case. And tech wouldn't check for that (they're not in charge of legality issues), but if someone decided to check while the car's in impound, you'd be boned.

damn, making it fit shouldn't be a problem. Just crack the case and void that warrenty! Would using a MAP vs a AFM make it illegal? you'd have to run a vacum line to the case since MS is MAP.

dude... way too many rules. If you use non-oem air in the tires, does that bump you out too? i'd hate to see someone have to run in SM because they stopped at Exxon to fill their air tank up.

yes. Honestly, there really aren't THAT many rules. It says what you CAN do, and if it doesn't say you can, you can't. I don't see how it can get much simpler...

true. the lack of rules in stock classes keeps it simple.

don't hate. some of us have different priorities. I'll have a 1.8 swap and a freer rule set soon enough, don't you worry.

Then you probably ought to pick this up while you can...
(poke)

Wait...does this mean you'll have two spare 1.6s and two spare VLSDs?
(naughty) How you doin'?
