Do it? (Photochop inside)

to me the original 5 spokers look much more sporty. I wouldn't deter from getting someone elses' stock wheels for cheap, but I'd want something to give it more of a sporty look.

You could try to photoshop some MSP RacingHarts onto it.

I kinda like the MS3 wheels personally. They work well with the silver. Nate, what are your thoughts?

if i had to choose, id pick the cx-7 wheels you showed initially and the ms3 wheels arent too bad. I understand where you are coming from though, aftermarket wheels dont look right on a stock height car, they 9 times out of 10 need lowering. Try the rx8 wheels, they look good on everything

of those I've posted so far, I like the CX7 the best

I agree the RX8 wheels are nice, but I feel that everyone uses them, and they are very similar to stock

I say go with the set of rims you originally photochopped, and then paint them. I think that color is just a little too boring. Don't paint them like bright orange, maybe go with black, or a darker gray, like the one in nate's pic.

What size are the CX-7 wheels?

I'd also go with an anthracite or titanium color to contrast a little bit.

aw come on nate.... i dont like the first ones you posted up. those i think are the worst mazda ones right now. and i think the msp ones are too small for the 6. what about some ms6 ones? can they be found pretty cheap off here? i do sorta like those on the 6. and of course my favorite stockers are rx8 ones!

The only reason I didn't suggest MS6 wheels is because they already go on a model of that car. Same reason I didn't suggest the 18's from the refreshed Mazda 6s. I think the MS3 wheels in a color just a touch lighter than you made those CX-7 wheels would be sick.

apparently wheel design is highly subjective

maybe these decisions aren't best made by committee

I guess the easiest thing right now is to stay with the stockers while I ponder it more

and go put my money towards a magnaflow catback

I like it better then your stock photo, but i would only do this if you got them free. It has a "stock" appearance but does appear a bit more "upscale"

Different strokes for different folks. I have been asking friends for input on wheels for my car, and I get all sorts of different answers, so I can only imagine opening it up to as many members as we have its worse.

still messing around

BTW, after not looking at this thread for several days, the CX7 wheels no longer look attractive to me
