What have you done to your MSP today?

the aem fic will be a good choice if we you can get it to work right, no one has tested it on a turbo protege. rich said he will try it when he gets the intake mani's done.

Is there going to be another run of those Manis? I didn't hear about them till time was well passed, and all you hear about the thunder manis is cracks....

I dont think that he is going to be doing another gb ... but you can buy them directly from SU.

Got new spark plugs, NKGs Platinum. They come with a gap of 0.040, gapped them down to 0.030~0.031 as per maintenance manual. They are going in as soon as the engine cools down

Finished my plan for bumping the car up to STX in autocross. Parts will be added in two phases, AWR coilovers being part of the first phase :)

I'll be putting in new spark plugs, rear end links, front motor mount, and possibly brakes this weekend.

new plugs here yesterday. No idea which ones, got them for free and they are bosch. Does anybody else's car start acting funny when your low on gas?? Mine does. about on the line of a 1/4 tank or anywhere under that.

I won't even get on it in 1st for instance, normal take off. Just one urk of the tire then I let off and begin to accelerate normally then the car will jerk back like I hit fuel cut, maybe because theres not enough fuel and I am hitting a kind of fuel cut. But this isnt a problem it's obvious why it happens and only happens in that situation because I'm low on gas.

but
my idle seems to go nuts sometimes also. Out of nowhere, I'll be at a stop push the clutch in and the car acts like its gonna stall, sometimes does. Sometimes it acts perfectly normal. Most of the time the car is perfectly normal and not doing this. Performance is not affected at all, it just happens at a stop. Maybe sometimes I'm just being a little to heavy on the clutch too.

In a week or so, I'm gonna do the fuel injection cleaning that cleans everything adn oil change, so I'll see if that helps with anything at all.

I used to have these reebok classic's old and starting to fall apart and everything. I only can drive my car and race it with those shoes because you need a light foot with the MSP. And with my set-up before I punch it I actually have to lift off the gas almost if not completely and then punch it. Before I let off my foot is on the gas very very slightly then I punch.
But now I got new shoes so it's heavy and I can't place my foot then take it off then hit it, because the shoes are to hard on the bottom I can't really use my toes more than my shoe you know?
anyone else have this issue, cuz it affects my normal driving too a lil and it sucks. I gotta break in my new shoes somehow.

So for now I'm just gonna try and keep as much gas as possible in the car and try to get used to my shoes more.

Plugs are in, car runs much smoother now. Still see hesitation on my boost gauge under partial throttle (when needle is between 10 and 20 mmHg) that comes and goes when the car is warm.....and my car developed a rattle from the horn, need to remove grill to fix it....

Finally figured out whats wrong with my trans.. Wrong bearing.. New one should be here on monday.. I shall finally have it on the road again..

Sounds like you might want to clean your throttle body and EGR valve, maybe seafoam things for good measure. Been meaning to do all three myself, haven't since I bought the car 11k ago. Usually clears up erratic idle issues.

Know what you mean about the shoes. I'm in a similar pickle myself. Just waiting to get used to them I guess.

Got one step closer to Konis
