I don't blame ya for lusting after 1200hp+ 20Bs but in my case...I'm trying to turn my 20B powered Cosmo into the ultimate street car...A "Mazda" man's version of a Porsche 911, Z06, GT-R or even one of those crazy Benz coupes with more power than you can shake a stick at! (laugh)
I'm looking forward to my next meeting on the Monday the 21st to discuss the custom glove-box setup & a few other potential mods...
I've been seeking some big-ticket mods for the long term and I'm thinking...
BBK...Even with slightly upgraded power levels...I feel the Cosmo needs some serious braking power...I came across this sweet sweet setup:
Not super large...I believe these badboys fit within an 18" rim and the monoblock construction is lighter while allowing for 6 pistons of total stopping power!
On a related note...I've been thinking about upgrading rims and or suspension in the long term and I was pleasantly surprised to find out that Autoexe still offers an
adjustable coil-over kit for the JC Cosmo!
I believe I currently have Autoexe sport springs and the stock shocks...The ride is actually well balanced between comfort and handling at this point...although I would like to be able to adjust ride height!
On the topic of suspension...I will at some point get a
front strut bar...I'm looking at one from Carbing:

</TD><TD align=middle bgColor=#b9f7ff>aluminum</TD><TD align=middle bgColor=#b9f7ff>I</TD><TD align=middle bgColor=#b9f7ff>621 409 0</TD><TD align=middle bgColor=#b9f7ff>18,000</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
On top of all that...I initially thought that a
grounding kit would be a waste of money but my Mazda Dealer friend tells me that on older cars...like the Cosmo...It could actually help strengthen the electrical system...
And at some point
HIDz...
All in due time...I'm looking forward to completing "Stage 2" with those Defi goodies...I would like to know if I'm achieving decent boost levels once the boost gauge is installed...(thumb)
