Short shifter

I guess they dont have parts for the speed3's then yet?

TWM has a Short Shifter kit for the Speed 3. It's a huge improvement over stock. Total price with base bushings is $263.00USD after taxes. I got mine from Street Unit - Free shipping.
 
easy to install? I know nothing about doin that sort of thing. I dont mind tryin, but i dont feel comfortable workin on a brand new car, let alone a SPEED3 lol. But thanks for the part, ill pick one up
 
Is the TWM the only shifter on the market? Not nec. short, but just something to take the notchy edge out of the stock one.....is what I'm looking for.

Also $250+ is outrageous for a shifter - I came from fbodys and mustangs previously, a world class shifter for those was about 2x the size, better materials and actually adjustable, for like 25% the price =( ---- but I guess MS3 is just so new...how it goes.

The bushings are very easy but the shifter can be pain if you don't have patience. The instructions are excellent though which helps a lot. For the shifter, if you can get an extra hand it would make things go a lot smoother.

I recommend getting the bushings AND a heavier knob along with the short shifter. The complete package is of high quality and improves shift feel considerably!

Better materials? I agree TWM might be pricy but the workmanship and materials are nothing less than top notch! Also their shift knobs are adjustable.

Cool, how does the 2-3 shift feel with it? I know alot of it has to do with the motor mount(@ WOT shifting) but seem like other cars at half throttle could just ram up into 3rd fast, but the MS3 seems a lil 'notchy'.

All shifts (including the 2-3)are improved. I never had a major issue with 2-3 though. But yeah, the mount is the key to solving the WOT problem.

Probably but I'd hate to disassemble it to take pics:). Like I said, the instructions are top notch and they have nice, clear color pics if you download them from their site.
