Is there any site that sells it? I can't seems to find it anywhere.

Will this be dangerous because of the side air-bag?

Lies!!!

That pod fits fine, it's made for the mazda3. The 3 pod one that covers the whole pillar fits like s*** I've heard. I had it and painted it to match, you'll need to connect it to the pillar with screws or strong tape or something. I didnt' feel like screwing it in and putting holes in the pillar so I sold it.

It will require a little work to get it all done and looking nice (sandpaper...primer...paint...some work just getting everythign right) but in the end it will turn out nice. Some people have posted pics and how tos and they've turned out really nice looking IMO. Only option that's really easier is the Mearcat pod (if they still have any) or just a steering column one.

You want to 'slide' the pod lower down the A pillar? I think it can go a bit lower, there's a certain range where it fits. I don't think tape would work as well, it wouldn't be flush up against the pillar and would probably look funky

so if I install this, I'll have to screw it in? Hmm....not sure if I want to damage my pillar.....I wonder if glue will work? but then again, that's still damaging the pillar.....

just use epoxy, and btw the airbag only comes out of the top of the pillar, the whole pillar doesnt come off.

how easy/hard to get the epoxy out if I need to remove the pod for some reason?

So if I was to screw the gauge into the pillar... it wouldnt hurt the airbag or make it deploy or any of that great stuff? Is it the same on the passenger side to? What if I wanted to remove the entire pillar to do some paint work on it? What about then?
