help with suspension work? Changing struts

:
Mazda Protege 5
So I am thinking of trying to change my struts before I leave for Michigan next Monday (31st) I was just wondering if anyone would be interested in helping out (if I can use my buddy's garage) or if someone wants to donate their garage/tools (Ill provide Pizza/beer)

Stock P5 with ~75000miles putting on brand new Illuminas. I am in Marietta and if I can get my buddies place he is in east Atlanta.

Let me know If anyone is interested. If I don't get these done before I leave I am thinking Ill probably be doing them the 2nd-3rd weekend in April.

I'll let you know if i have a day off and we can do it. I have done plenty already. Scott

I'm down to help. I did my drivers rear corner in a 10x10 storage unit, it's REALLY straightforward

Well, after realizing my packed week schedule I think I will be doing these when I get back home from break. That way I can get new endlinks and make sure I am not pushing it on anything I want/have to do.

So 1st/2nd weekend in April I think I will be working this out. I will try to procure some garage time with my buddy.

If you need, my garage should be available the 2nd weekend in april (12/13th). Let me know. If we end up doing this, as always, anyone else with projects is available (except for Przyborskey and his MX5. **** working on that thing for 9 hours again :p)

Coincidently enough, I just got a pair of lowering springs from a forum member and I want to try and install them as soon as possible. I have an '02 P5 with a little over 80000 miles. I know springs on stock struts will probably be frowned upon, but the stockers won't be in there for long. What's the difficulty of DIY? I pretty much know a little above the basics on cars so far, so I might need some help if you guys think it'll probably be a pain. If I do need help, which I'm feeling I will probably need some lol, pizza's on me. Not old enough yet to buy the drinks legally (peep)

Well keep me posted on this guys. I really want to change my suspension but I still need to get a new windshield. Grr... stupid stress cracks. Is there a way to prevent them before they get out of control?

Well, I can't answer that question about the windshield, because I don't know enough, but I agree with you on changing that suspension. Maybe we can meet up with some of the guys one day and do it... I would definately learn some stuff for sure (friday)
