Kind of, wife works as well so we needed to meet half way with family stuff. The Mazda5 came the closest to our needs (i.e. Manual Tranny, Space, Fuel Economy), so at the time of trading-in my old car the 08 show-up as a good opp. But now, if my needs were different, a 2nd Mazda5 would not be in the driveway, serious (may be a MazdaSPEED3 or a Mazda3 Hatchback to say least )

Now the real question is, which one do you like better? LOL...

The Mazda5 . No, if I could combine the good stuff from each, I'll be all set, yet I have some inclination for the 06, like the color and the front/grille better.
