Next Sunday, March 16: Anybody wanna help me get back to stock?

I should know in the next day or two. When I talked to State Farm on Monday afternoon they said the insurance adjuster will be out to see my car in the next 2-4 days...

UPDATE:

I talked to the shop today and although the official estimate hasn't gone through yet, the shop guy told me that when the adjuster saw the car on Wednesday he was optimistic that it would be fixed! So looks like I'm gonna get my baby back!

Looks like the get back to stock day might be a turbo install day indeed!

Also, looks like this weekend is going to be too soon...I'm thinking next weekend (23rd) is more probable...

sweet, i'm glad this is turing into a positive. and that means that I'm sleeping all day on sunday! (braindead

bad news...car is totaled. :( So if anybody is around to get the tokico hps and espelirs off the car, I'll give you a really good deal if you want 'em. The only catch is the car is behind the fence at the shop until Monday...so really we only have Monday evening or possibly Tuesday evening to swap out the stuff. I've cleared it with the shop already, so that's not an issue...now it's just the scheduling...

That stinks! BJ's at work until 8 tonight- and I know he works late again on Monday. I'll let him know whats going on and see if there's anything we can do to help.

Monday is no good, I'm working from 9am to 8pm. I've got to do my taxes on Tuesday, but I'm free in the afternoon. I've got an electric impact wrench, so that will help. do you think the garage will help us get the struts off? the hardest part is compressing the springs, the rest is just spinning of the wrench.

I'll talk to the garage when they open on Monday and see what they can do. They might even be able to swap out the parts themselves.

as for the next car, I'm not sure yet. I love the p5 but this could be an opportunity to buy something with a little more oomphf

I might be able to help you out on Monday, Jeff. Where is the car being kept right now? I work at UConn, so hopefully it isn't too close to torrington.. that would be a haul.
