I'll consider modding when the warranty's up. By then, all the tuning solutions will have been worked out.

Subaru is a perfect example of this. Now people with legitimate concerns (usually regarding the drivetrain) are having a hard time getting warranty work done on their stock cars. Abuse is usually cited as the reason for denial.
Anyone browsing their warranty denial section and the horror stories posted would conclude Subaru is just a bunch of weasels. But looking at it from the other end, it's not hard to see why it has gotten the way it has. No one wants to take responsibility for their actions.
Can anybody else chime in about this? His goal is not to take Mazda to court, he just wants his car back in a timely manner. It sucks that he is making payments on a car he cannot even drive.
