mazdaspeed6, CLK430
Hi, I'm new here. I purchased mazdaspeed 6 about three weeks ago, used but with only 10k. Very fun car to drive, and one of the best cars that I ever owned, does not compare to my clk430 performance wise. I crashed my mazda on monday, basically the whole left side is scratched up, rear quarter is messed up, and rear wheel with suspension is broken. Local body shop said that rear left quarterpanel, left fender, left headlight, rear door, rear bumpercover and left taillight will need to be replaced. I looked around for ms6 parts everywhere but cannot find anything. My question is, since there are alot of parts for mazda 6, not speed6, what parts will fit my ms6 from the ones that I listed. Insurance payed me for the damage, and I kept the car. I calculated if I buy everything from a dealer, I will spend all the money on fixing my mazda. Thats why I need to know is basic mazda 6 parts that can be bought cheap, can be used on my ms6.
Any help would be good.

There are plenty of online sites that have parts for the Speed6, and dealers who sell below retail. Here are a few, but if you bother to look you'll find plenty more...

Many of the common parts are shared (window motors, switches, etc.), but most body work and many of the mechanical underpinnings are significantly different. If you look at the online catalogs you'll notice some parts will say w/o MazdaSpeed or w/ MazdaSpeed to refer to the different components that are exclusive.

Arlington Mazda (finishline performance) has a very helpful parts group who can email you the parts diagrams and help you pick the right parts. Also the other sites provide the same diagrams (mostly) but without the part numbers.

Thanks for the reply, and links. I did more research and it turns out that it will be too expensive to fix, even if I buy parts with discount. I will probably sell the car by parts and buy another one.

If you want another used MS6, there will be a bunch to chose from in your neck of the woods, as you may well already know.

Are you sure you wrecked the Speed6 or did you buy a wrecked Speed6 from the insurance auction?

Maybe you want to learn to drive.

A Mazdaspeed 6 is a nice car. Maybe you should think about getting a 1994 Ford Escort and drive it for a while. Work your way up to a performance car when your mature enough to handle it.
