What have you done to your MSP today?

last night i parked her again, the P5 is back on duty. I need to pull the side mounts on the MSP and fill them
 
lol nothing wrong w/ it at all lol we just usually drive the P5 to work etc....

we have a 2 car garage and the rx7 takes up a spot in the driveway and it doesnt run, so when i want to drive the MSP i have to play musical cars lol

other than that she runs 100%, i've just wanted to fill the side mounts since getting a new front motor mount, so now be the time :D
is there something wrong with your msp? i never hear anything about it, except that your not driving it lol

you people and your rx7's. they are just nice pieces of furnature arent they.

the awr mounts work nice too if u want a premade solution. I have them.

im going to see how this window weld pans out, and if im not happy I'll probably get new awr mounts...but i have a feeling the filling of the stock ones will do just fine for the crazy power im putting out lol

LOL NO I DONT!!!! tbh i really shouldnt want 350 im proabbly going to get in trouble with it. ive had a 240sx w/ 300hp and it was a fun car but it was a little too fast for me being 18 years old. but hey gotta learn some how. i got my 1st ever reckless ticket in december and went to court for it in febuary and when i went the female judge said some stuff to me that actually made sense to me and made me think. ive been a different driver ever since then lol. but i know once i get the car done im gonna slip up i can allready see it comming.

I agree with you Ryan, but you can always race on the right place you know, you can always modify your car to take it to the track, 1/4 mile racing , auto cross or which ever you want, sometimes being young with a fast car is a very serious problem when you dont act mature, you need to learn how to stop and what you can and cannot do. i mean iam 29 years old with 2 kids and always dreamed to have a car the way i have, you are young once in life but always do things in a responsible way, i love to race, i love hang out with my friends and go to meetings and share what we all have, but that doesnt mean you dont feel the need for speed, i really think the difference between a man and a boy is just the price of the toy. we all just need to be and drive safe and respect all of the laws. but believe me, when you get to the 300whp youll want to go beyond, i bet you anything !!! never is enough. is about money, if you can afford it youll go for it, guaranteed !!!
 
lol ive allready had 300 hp in a car that is 400lbs lighter then the msp. i know what it feels like. i dont know when i go to dana to tune ill proabbly tune my agressive tune at 20psi on meth. i mean with the mpi,meth,j&s safeguard,and danas tune i think that i should be able to do 20 psi fine and still hold everything together.

well 300 HP is less than 300whp. what do you want, 300 crank Horsepower or wheel horsepower ?
 

hahaha. sad to see your speed gonna be gone, but nice evo. just keep in mind when something breaks in your evo is not going to be the same price for the parts and labor, sometimes is not about buying a car, is about maintaining it !!! parts are going to cost you twice or 3 times more than for your mazda, but is you can afford it what the hell, go for it !!! good luck with your new toy and keep us update it.. by the way how much you paid for your Evo and how many miles, what year ? def get some 19wheels on that beast !!!
 
hell no id say parts are going to be more for the protege lol becuase its going to break 10x more then the evo and justin told me thru text messages that it has 430whp

Well what justifies the cost for me is the better engineered car.. The Evo is simply made better than the MSP, everywhere.. The trans doesnt take a s*** every couple months (like the MSP), the 4g63 can handle 500whp reliably on the stock block(unlike the MSP), and its a better platform (AWD > FWD).. What else is needed?

Also, Id have to disagree against the part about Evo's cost more to maintain.. Its ALOT cheaper to get a built EVO trans than it is to build your own MSP trans..

its cheaper but only by about 1k. the evo is a better platform there no doubt about it. but like me and justin were sayin earlier when we talked im in too far now just to turn around and sell everything. i has to go thru with it lol
