I stopped watching pretty much when they went to Hollywood episodes as we typically do, but i like the Irish girl either way Which one is she?

My wife likes it. I don't have control over the TV when that show is on. So I hooked the 360 up to the computer moniter. lol

I do enjoy the tryouts though.

I don't think the rocker chick, Amanda I think it is, is going to make it all the way. She's good and would be great in a Janice Jopplin cover band. I'd buy the alubum, I just don't think it's American Idol material though

she definitely has a niche and limited sound.. but damn she sounds just like janice joplin.

you need our tv hehe....its a 52" and i can split it down the middle so she can watch whatever and i can play PS2....its win win hahahaha

I got a 42" DLP now. That's big enough for me. I've got a buddy with a 52 and it's almost like he's compensating for something.

i have a samsung 56" DLP and i love it. really depends on the size of the room you put it in tho. I had a 55" rear-projection hdtv prior and it was way too big before, but where this DLP sits the 56" is perfect.

I could actually use the 56" in my living room. Vaulted ceilings and big open spaces make the 42" look small. My buddy has his 52" in a TINY apartment. It takes up half his living room when you add in the TV stand and all the speakers.

Not really .. How many of the Idol winners have actually taken off and become successful?

Only ones I can think of are Kelly Clarkson (who's actually disappeared recently), Carrie Underwood .. and, well, Chris Daughtry didn't actually win on Idol, but he's doin' pretty damn good anyway!

That's three. And maybe Jordin Sparks? Kinda early to tell for her, though. Even so, four tops.

Besides .. you just CANNOT beat all those audition videos!
