Sorry to jack thread a little bit, but i'm also hoping to hit up J-pan during the summer. Being a korean person,I know there's quite a bit of tension there between koreans and the japanese, but will they treat me like some 2nd class citizen person? Or will they actually be nice to me cause i'm a US citizen. Also, is it true they fingerprint visiting foreigners? I dunno, either way, i hope i get to experience the place at least once. You're lucky that you get to go in 2 weeks T_T.
ya dont need to worry. many koreans look like japanese nowadays lol..and vice versa.yea the koreans dont like us japanese. i think every1 should put it in the past where it belongs. i find it weird that almost all koreans know how to speak japanese yet they dont really like them. my korean friend told me that in korea, schools actually make it mandatory to learn some japanese
