2008.5 MAZDASPEED3 - Now in CRYSTAL WHITE and METROPOLITAN GRAY

A few days ago, I was going through Albuquerque, New Mexico, and I had to stop at a Mazda dealer for some parts. While I was there, I saw the MS3 in the Pearl white in person. (lol2)

Let me just say WOW! The white shows all of the muscular bulges, and it looks awesome.(2thumbs)

My wife, who I have been trying to talk into a MS3 for a year now, said I can get the white one, because it looks so good.(wrc)

The CWP looks so much better in person than in the pictures.

i think that was the dealership i called for pictures. was it Garcia Mazda? i just wanna see the whole combination of the piano black with the alcantara.

I just ordered mine in the Metropolitan grey I've been scouring the net for pictures of the new interior, someone posted up the sport but not a new gt with the alcantara, really want to see it

I put a down payment today on a 2008.5 MS3 GT True Red. I took a 08 true red GT for a ride today and absolutely loved it. I've been looking at pictures of other people's rides for the past month and am really diggin how bold the red looks! I love the way white looks, but to me, it looks too simple to me. I didn't mind having a wilder color. It's my first red, and i've always liked the way it looks, all cleaned up and mildly tinted!

hey man thanks for the link, I was wondering about that, also need to find out what products the recommend for the leather parts as well, I know some cleaners dont play well with different leathers, so need to find out which ones are good for the 3

No problem! I take it the Alcantara is going to take alot of gentle care. But if the original poster's stat sheet is right, that black leather/black alcantara is going to look HAWT!!

If you find anything on the leather let us know. Otherwise I plan on using Lexol. I just want to make sure none of it gets on the Alcantara. I can't wait for mine car!

Yes it was Garcia!

CWP is awesome, and must be seen in person.

iam also not digging the white needles either.

I'm almost thinking that all of this will have to be seen in person..because some of these pictures arn't doing any justice.

Where as, I finally found some good pictures of the interior out of a japanese article.

The Alcantara looks GORGEOUS! And actually, the white needles help you realize what speed you're at. I noticed yesturday that it was difficult to check your speed in a quick glance, because the red needles blend so much with the gauges. I'm excited!!

how about the blue-backlighting on the gauge cluster, is that gone or is it still there?

Also, is there any control buttons on the right side of the steering wheel on the USDM version?

I would imagine the blue is still there. No reason to change that I don't think. Of course, it's just my opinion. I sorta like the blue to be honest. And they didn't say anything on the spec sheet.

Alcantara is a great material. It is very wear-resistant, doesn't stain easily, and doesn't get super hot or cold from the weather. If you've ever had a microsuede coat or piece of furniture, this is basically the same material.

the mazda delivery truck came today, and there was a metro gray ms3 on there. it looks great in person. by the time i got to my camera and walked back outside the truck was pulling off.
