Nothing big here, just need to vent. It's due to my own ignorance of course, but the salesperson told me satelite ready meant all I had to do was call sirius to acitvate the sat radio.....not the case, Had my first service today and had the sat radio addressed as I had no signal and sirius could not activiate it, the dealer told me I need to buy and install the 380.00 module. Wish I would've known that before, Oh well (bj)

Complain about your salesman. I have gotten 2500 dollars in cash refunds so far because the salesman was so bad.

I feel bad because I alerady destroyed the dealership in that mazda survey, I bascially said I'd buy another Mazda, but not from that dealership. My salesmen put me on hold for over an hour on delivery day, I just sat there walking around the show room until he was able to make time, I met at his time by the way. I destroyed them in the survey and destroyed them with the dealership owner. My salesman got canned and I received a check for 2500 dollars. I also received 2 years of free oil changes and 6 free gas tanks. My salesman said there was a desert protection plan (2k) and it was on the car and could not be taken off so take it or leave it. Of course I was so excited about getting a new car we had no choice. I got home and noticed some of the shipping tape still on the vehicle which told me there was not protection coating applied. I went back to the dealership the next day and talked with one of the finance mgrs who apoligized for what the salesman had done and informed me that there was no such thing. So he pretty much stole 2k from me. We went round and round and it was finally taken care of by the owner of the dealership. He was very nice and very upset with my experience. The other 500 dollars was from a bad window tint.

Do not ever feel sorry for the dealership, the people that work there, or mazda! Your money is your money. He lied, **** him for that.

My salesman made the same fatal mistake. I made him buy me the Sirrius unit out of his own pocket. I did the install. Piece of cake. 25 minuets tops.

Go back to the stealership and have the salesperson own up to their ignorance and take care of you. It probably costs less than $200 to the dealership in the first place. You are the customer, you are their sole reason for existence, you control how they will be seen by way too many potential future customers for them to fight over their own stupid mistake.

Try to get this resolved, because Sirrius is really cool, and it should be in your Speed3!!

All you need to do is complain to MazdaUSA. I got a $150 because I was pissed that you can't have Sirius and the MP3 jack at the same time.

The issue I had was that the Window Sticker says that the car has an MP3 jack and that the radio is Sirius Compatable. Nowhere does it say that you can't have both and that if you want both you have to pay $150 for a switcher from Mazda.

Thus I got the $150 and that paid for most of my CAI as I negotiated the Sirius with my dealer and I don't listen to MP3's

They told me basically the same the first time. The 2nd e-mail is where I got the $150. Don't give up.
