oops dumb me, i see your from west palm with the bad heat we get down here how come you dident get the front mount keeping thesleeper look? just ask/ i went with turboxs seems good. but any ways put it on yet? can you notic any change any change at all?
I haven't put it on yet, and I was thinking about going with a front mount, not that hot weather has anything to do with it at all, but rather because I enjoy going to the drag strip and waiting in line/staging will most likely heat soak the crap out of a top mount. anyway, I have a cold air intake already, and most of the front mounts duct air exactly where my intake already runs. plus I got a really good deal on the top mount that I bought.

I hope you have a new stiffer MM because Ive read that someone broke there plastic over the cowl from the 3.5" TMI hitting it from hard shifts.
On a side note I wish I had a new IC because the stock one suxs..

congrats dude!!
I bought the mount, and incidentally, I had the motor knock against something up there before I did anything. the stock mount is far too gooey. I thought my car was going to die! the mount and the intercooler are going on tomorrow morning along with the girl's first oil change. I can't wait!

Front mounts just look mean as hell. I'm not convinced theres much of a performance difference between top or front mount, and if there was I'd put it on the top mount being better.
However, you just cannot beat a big ol' mean lookin front mount. If you disagree, tell me this car isn't sexy:

How many bolts are holding the stock TMIC on?

Only 3 bolts...12mm plus the two hoses and the hoses on the BPV.

powder coating takes away from the effectiveness of the cooling I'm fairly sure. I'm not for being a sleeper at the expense of efficiency or performance.

With the top mount (3.5) do you have to have the MM.
