Car is sitting on the tenzo 18x8 wheels and was using the stock rubber. Traction has been a serious issue for me. So I sold the stock rubber and went with some 235/40/18s. Now remember Im on eibach sportlines and some say they will rub. Well I said **** it and tried. Well for one they hook way better, look tougher and handle better to boot. Im stoked to say the least. Hopefully the car will grip in 3rd gear now. LOL The tires are just cheapies, maxxis something or other. Les schwab brand. I figured i would just smoke them up anyway. LOL Just figured I would share the love. (drive)

how are they with the rubbing issues?
I plan on getting cobb springs and probably upgrading(or downgrading, depending on what you like) to some lighter weight 17X8 inch rims if I can find them and plan on putting 235's on that.

What offset are the wheels? How much clearance do you have on the inside of the front and rear?

I'm really hoping to fit a 245 under the car on an 18x8 with a 50 offset. Stock suspension of course.

^^^ im in the same boat as you i have a set of rx8 rims 52+ offset i believe, i would love to know if 245-4018's would fit

Man with all that power you need to get some good rubber on there! I just got some BFG G-Force KDW's not too long ago and before I could spin into 4th and I have tried many good tires. $200 ea. 215/35/18. They were cheaper than what I was originally going to get Nitto DR's. The BFG's are supposed to be a little less grip but have a much higher treadwear.

I have a theory on sticky tires. If the're not spinning they don't wear as fast chewing the rubber off unless you doing autoX! Cheaper tires higher treadwear but the're just spinning no matter how wide they are.

The highest offset that Tenzo has is 45et. I cant wait to see pictures! I was thinking about going with 235s on these same wheels (and Im not lowered quite as much) but I fear rubbing!

Subbin' for pics!

I'm planning on the 18x8 tenzo dc-6s and same size tires. If you are planning on doing that set up with a drop then i shouldnt have anything to worry about at stock height, right?
