Yeah, I have to live with a single runner intake, JDM intake cam, a set of AWR engine mounts and Corksport exhaust hangers.

Just think of the pain I am going through.(bang)

thats not gonna show the full potential anyway of your upgrades. your ecu has to get used to the new upgrades, espically the intake cam and manifold. theres alot more air comming in and the ecu needs atleast 500 miles to take advantage of it.

dwpeek, buy the splitsecond afc. i got it to work for a NA protege! check out my other thread. i can send you my map that makes perfect ratios. that would take advantage of your 2 things.

You could get a base dyno now and then get another one in a few weeks with everything in. I know that you wanted to try one mod at a time but giving the ECU time to learn the each mod would make this a long drawn-out process.

I am trying to get ahold of one of the mod guys right now. If I can get ahold of him I want to atleast put on the exhaust hangers and engine mounts, then hopefully get in a base pull on the dyno.

hey i just got the protege garage manifold and i was wondering if i had to torque
it out to mazda specs. if you do how many pounds did you torque it to? if you have any tips on installing the manifold it would help alot thanks!

I think he meant do you torque the intake down to the engine with protege torque specs or 626 specs. It also appears that he does not know how to find them and is asking for help. Though I know that one was wide open for the joke, good one.

all i need is the torque specs to bolt it down to the head. 10lbs, 15lbs, 20lbs? i cant find the specs online without paying for mitchell1 that costs 30$ for a month membership. i did leave my self open for that last one. thanks for the help (bird)
