Kit for larger rotors

I once came across a kit that included larger rotors, new mounts to position the factory brakes correctly for the new rotors, and upgraded pads. The theory is that the larger diameter rotors even with the factory brakes would have sufficient mechanical advantage over the smaller factory rotors that stopping power would be dramatically improved. Plus the new rotors are of a higher quality material and wouldn't look all rusty and ugly if the car sat for two days. You also save a bunch of money by not having to replace the calipers.
Now, of course, I have no idea what site it was and cannot find it to save my life. Anybody else come across this and remember where to find it?
For that matter, what do some of you think of the concept in general?

The problem I'm having is that I am only finding kits that are complete with new calipers. I'm looking for the one that re-uses the original calipers on larger rotors.

You might broaden your search to include the Volvo S60 since there are some common parts. This might lead you back to your original find. Good luck.

And yes, the concept is valid. The increase in braking torque would be proportional to the increase in radius. Larger rotors would theoretically dissipate heat more quickly at the expense of increased unsprung weight. A safety question would be "are the OEM caliper mounts sufficiently strong to handle the relocated caliper." The stock brakes are great, make sure you don't screw them up.

Thanks for the feedback. To reposition the calipers, the kit comes with new mounts. I don't know how strong what they attach to is though.
