did you guys have to cut your bumpstops when lowering your mp3? theres discussion that people with the msp's dont because it came with a shorter bumpstop, but i couldnt find any information on the mp3's bumpstop. help a brother out :)

they're the same bump stops, i cut mine in half when i did my drop

Way way back I had a eibach prokit and chopped a few more coils off (don't make fun of me for it) and I never hit the bump stops! Although cutting the coils did stiffen it up quite a bit!

i feel no difference, i do go over speedbumps slower though cause it still hits the bumpstops but not that much, wish i could remove the bumpstops comletely but that would be a huge NO NO

You are quite correct. They're there for a reason. Although I suppose it's debatable how much (or how little, rather) you could remove without it affecting anything.

i cut mine right down the middle and no issues but i think that's deffinately the limit

hmm lookie what i found! :D

^Never said they weren't, this was general information for anyone who would prefer not to cut them if they have stock ones. I also never said they made them, I said they had them. But since they carry OEM stuff, that means that you can get them at your local dealership...

welp i lowered just the front with the H&R's 1.3" drop. stock struts. its even with the back now :)
