hate to bump an old thread, but do the updated tail lights fit the '04 mazda 6s? my girl purchased some ebay chrome replacement ones about 3 years ago when her boss backed into the car and offered to replace them. i greatly dislike the chrome look, and really like to keep things clean and OEM.
i went to the dealership today, and they couldnt verify if they fit or not without having me buy them on backorder, and test fit them myself. i tried to search, but no luck

i did mine awhile back. i used rockblocker, its a thick film overlay....but honestly u shouldvspray em cuz the overlay comes out like s*** on our tight corners. just my opinion.

this thread reminds me of those covers we used to put on our headlights back in the day... unlike the tails (which can look cool without sacrificing safety) the headlight covers were about as dumb an idea as tight rolling your jeans. I mean really... people pay extra or xenon so they can see MORE of the road... if I have to put my high beams on just so I can match the intensitiy of my low beams... I'm probably a complete tool
they were actually gts. the s looked like an o in the logo....i had them on my old intrepid, i liked em.
I don't even want to black out my taillights anymore.... I saw some pics of the JDM tails (no bump on the corner!!!!!!!) and the housing looks BLACK, not chrome like the ones on my MS6 now.
I'd like to get a pair of those........but at $400, it's A LOT cheaper to go the spray paint alternative.
All one needs is VHT Nightshades and some Clear Coat......
2 coats of the Nightshades (that means let the first coat dry, for some that may not know)
and then 1 coat of the Clear Coat.
and in case more people aren't aware...... it's a lot easier to paint the lights if you remove them from your car instead of trying to tape off the area and paint them while they are on the car.

The euro tails have the chrome accents as well
plus one..
I've actually seen THREE different kinds...... and the fact you said EURO and not JDM, makes me think you're not thinking of the same taillights as I am........ I've seen a normal, all chrome, and all black......
Heres a pic of my tails using 3 coats of niteshades. I didnt tint over the reverse, turn or brakes just around them since cops would pull me.
That looks really nice, blacking it out except for the specific lights. I wonder how it looks all blacked out though.
