Does anyone else have these springs on their Speed3? Just ordered some and didn't get here before X-mas!!! Also, do u need 2 get an alignment after lowering the car?

i have not heard of anyone with a speed3 with them, so please post your results, pics and your assessment of the springs once you've installed them. I am debating on which springs to get also, and i have heard of good results from roadmagnet springs on other cars. Yes you will want to align your car after installing it.

yep, Ive got the roadmagnets, my car was actually the test mule for developing them...I love em

there were one or two cases of people blowing struts with these on, but Ive had em on for almost a year and not a single problem.

and seeing the car in person, and on speed 3, MSP and Mz3...

they are awesome...

Thanx for the info guys. I am waiting to install springs when it gets warmer and no snow. This is my modern day hot rod so, no snow for this Speed. I also am installing the Forge blow off and headlight and foglight laminits from Lamin-x. Yellow for the headlights and blue for the fogs. Will post pics when done. Later!!!

how does it ride? Harsh? Bumpy? Stiff?

I have had mine installed for a few months and the ride is very bouncy on anything but perfect roads, the stock shocks do not feel like they work correctly with these, you really need to match them up to shocks, I have the Bilsteins on order.

id say it rides like a lowered car... you get what you should expect, the ride is fairly stiff, but I dont think its that harsh. you sacrifice a little bit of ride comfort with a whole lot of improved handling and style. I think that its probably not a bad idea to match these springs up with a new, stiffer strut, but ive been running these without upgraded struts and I havent had any problems.

hatchd - what kind of bilstiens did you order?

Dude, you just made my wallpaper on my desktop. I have been looking for a good pic of a blue MS3 with those exact wheels to gauge how mine would look. I know you have a different blue but for now, it's close enough. Awesome color btw (2thumbs)

I absolutely love the drop of roadmagnets. The first time I've seen the moderator (jbiird) install these on his car, it made me drool. And when he put the OZ's on, it made me nut.

And as Jbiird has said that there were a couple cases of blown struts with them, I'm scared as there were only about a handful (give or take) with these that I've seen in this forum.

The re-valved Bilsteins from AWRRACING, Tony assured me they will work well.

I guess I'm on the wrong side of 40, so my needs may be a little different to some.

The color is called Aurora Blue, thanks for the compliment chacon101.

don't lower ur ride, u will regret it in the long run...bouncy,bottom out..think about it..also tires, if not properly aligned...it will eat rubber ...check cambers too ;)..
