^ love this fucken thing

try an 06 zx10 on for size. 10.4@144 is what I went on it.

Nice stuff, you have there.

im not really into the whole drag racing bike thing. I like carving alot better, it does however get dangerous real quick lol. My goal for this season is to remove that lil chicken strip left on my front tire. 2ct's are shapped different, its hard to get all the way down on a 70

I here ya on the canyon carving. I lost my best friend a few months back so i pretty much put bikes on hold for awhile. Ill stick to 4 wheels for awhile. I also mx quads. Ill post a pic of my ltr

I can't see the pictures since I am at work but having tires leaned to the very edge is indicative to bad body position on the bike. Especially for street riding. You need to move around more. You can roll both tires to the very edge in a parking lot @ 25mph if you wanted to. I say this because I've seen a few people go over the bars when they run out of tire. Me being one of them. 9 days of ICU, 2 weeks in a bed, and a month and a half of relearning to walk SUCKS. Be careful out there.

what protege garage turbo back? im on the site and i dont see "protege garage" turbo back...

sounds good tho

Try 2 weeks in hospital, 5 months bed stricken, and relearning how to walk, eat and s*** again. Now that sucked. Ive taken it down a notch for sure. LOL

I love the car! But with varying ride heights, are 2 of these pics photoshopped or just taken after the springs?

I like how you mounted your boost gauge. Can you post some more close up pics and what you used for a pod?

my body position is fine. im leaning off as much as i can and lock on with my outside leg. i agree that i do push my luck on the street, but hey i didnt get the bike to put around. i did have a spill already, lucky i was fine just a bruised hip and the bike just scratches one of the many frame sliders. Why did i crash? lost the back end coming out of a turn lol. it was a sloped turn sloping against the turn so i didnt even realize how low got, next thing i know im scraping the stupid curb feelers, 1 second later im on my side watch my bike slide. i was lucky though

As for the springs, its a mix of pictures before and after the springs i guess.

(werd) I can attest to a bike getting out from under you...

I used to work at a motorcycle dealer as a service writer, and for my profession I would ride roughly 2-5 bikes a day and verify full functionality, performance, etc. Well, one day a light sprinkle came and went, and I didn't think anything of it. I took a customer's powerful, modded ZX-12 out to verify proper balance on his new tires, and before I could get out of visual range of the bike bay, I spun up the rear tire and the bike slid out from under me. The combination of a fresh tire, fresh rain, and a powerful and twitchy-throttled bike just got the best of me QUICK.

Sucks when you do it to your own bike, but its a whole 'nother world of crap when you do it to a customer's bike! LOL,...man I took so much s*** for that one...

Great pics, Laloosh. You're better at photography then you think you are. Especially your B & W's...lot of great contrast and line work there.

yeah what protege garage turbo back? Whats the deal with this? Its not on the site so just curious cause it sounds rediculousely good.

i hate to continue this OT, but i had a similar situation. when i was younger, i worked as a slop tech at a local powersports dealer. i did crate assembly, battery filling...whatever crap jobs were around that the real techs didn't want to do.

anyway, the whole time i was there, there was a gorgeous repo'd 93 gsxr 1100 sitting in the warehouse that had incredible amounts of work done to it. it was ultra high compression, ran on c12, idled like a true race bike, and was stretched big time. i always wanted to ride it, but it was in an area that was sorta off limits, plus it was in limbo because it was repossessed. anyway. FINALLY, someone comes in to look at the bike, and they decide they want to test it. i got to prep it and take it for a ride to try it out.

i go to the showroom, and pop on the only helmet that fit me, a $600 custom brushed piece that noone ever bought, so it was always there for me in cases like this. i have my jeans and shop tee on, drain the bike, fill it, idle it, check some things and take off. i go around the area, get it up to speed, get up to a brisk 120 on a small straight on a back road, come back, and on the way back, i get stuck at a light. i take off from the light, make a slow right turn, i hit a patch of sand, and the bike drops. i was going maybe 15mph, but i ended up making 3k in damage on the bike, dented the helmet, scraped the crap outta my arm, etc.

so i pick the damn thing up and hobble it back to the shop. i got totally reamed for it, and had to pay for some of the plastics, but didnt get fired!

BTW< laloosh, im in NJ too; way south tho!
