I finally did it too!!

Pirelli Snowsport 240's on the stock rims. I have the snowsport 210's on my P5 and like them alot. Not too many choices in the stock size.
Good choice. I liked the 210's on my Protege, great snow traction. I did get a sidewall bubble towards the end of the 1st season (after 20K miles), could've been a pothole, but that spooked me away from Pirelli since. I'm sure you'll be fine though.

Guys,

Looking for a place that does powdercoating. Any ideas? Looking to powdercoat some rims.

Found this place on the web, http://www.capecodpowdercoating.com

Josh, have you heard of them?

OMG, 2 funny

I spoke with Bob last week about rims and about valve covers.
Nice guy. He remembered Martin (NDN) very well too!
He quoted $100 per rim and $50 for the VC.
60-70% of the cost to do the rims is the required stripping down to bare metal.
This enables the powder to electrostaticly adhere to the bare metal forming the best bond actually penetrating into the surface pores when it is baked.

50 for a vc, that is super cheap!

Thanks Dan. Is that a good price? For that price do they powdercoast the entire rim?

You can use my garage on Saturday. I have to leave at 8pm, that's about the only time restriction there is!

Woot! Wish I could join yea on the installs. Too much holiday prep to do this weekend.

Congrats again and be sure to take plenty of pics.

She's here. Finally got thru all the dealer stuff and drove home in the snow!!

Took my daughter out for a little spin and did a little drifting and donuts in the snow, man I missed rear wheel drive.

Here's a pic at the dealer before I left.
