What have you done to your MSP today?

You know, I'm considering switching oil weight according to season...like 5W30 in the winter/fall and 10W30 in the spring/summer. I wonder if that works out okay. I'd love some feedback if anybody here does that. Otherwise, I'm curious as to whether 10W30 provides sufficient lubrication on startup in the cold.

10W30 is not very good in cold climat... i use 5W30 in winter and 10W40 in summer.
 
Hooked up PeaJays old unichip despite everyone saying it would run like crap because I have different mods and a relocated maf.

Suprisingly enough it runs great! Definately smoother power delivery plus some extra hp noted in the butt dyno. I am sure the difference will be night and day once I get it to altered atmosphere on the 30th.

PS. one of the easiest aftermarket installs ever!...of course I didnt hook up the EBC half of theunit cause I want my engine in one piece.
 
forgot to mention, finished up this autox season yesterday. placed 3rd out of 10 in SM, 20th overall out of 75. on the season i finished 4th out of 42 in SM!

it didn't start today. So i switched it over again, and she tried to turn but backfired instead. 3rd time was the charm, but now i don't know what's wrong..
 
I got fed up with the belts squealing, so I parked it in the garage where it'll stay for the next week. Yay, vacation.
 











after some beating and a 5 ton gear puller, got the driver side axle out of the hub.

not so lucky on the passenger side and ended up breaking the 5 ton gear puller. ended up taking the entire assembly out with the axle still in it. rust ftw...

Same thing happened with my axles.. Although I left them in after getting pissed..
 
well i'm kinda excited...the mod bug has bitten again... i have a 626 mani waiting to go in, a coldpipe waiting to go in to compliment my hotpipe, tonite i bought a catless midpipe, and last nite i ordered corksport motormount inserts, colder sparkplugs and a JDM familia badge... yessa
 
re-installed stock air box and piping. stock ECu couldnt compensate for the CAI with the colder weather : (
no $$ for EMS.
but hey, it's a lot quieter now....
 
easier fix would have been to make the CAI into a SRI...i've been running an injen "SRI" for years...
