obx turbo manifold

I see it says T25/28 turbo but I thought OBX only offered this with a T3/4 flange.

TO the OP, you realize this cannot be used in the stock MSP position if that is what you have or plan on installing?

I realize I offer a competetive product, but I'm not bashing, just wanna make sure you buy the right thing.

I'd check with Ken at protegegarage before you purchase that. I say this becuase I believe OBX has a life time warrenty and maybe Ken will be able to price match. Protephile is also agodo vender and he seems to know what he is talking about to!

I wasnt to sure about the mounting on it.. Maybe I will wait and the planets will align and a mam will come up for sale one day.. Appreciate the good word..

Thanks

1. looks to have a poor collector design
2. WG only vents 1 cylinder
3. will require solid motor mounts and a brace
4. anything is better then the stock msp manifold
5. for the price even if it broke it would still be a good deal, just repair it locally.
6.pretty sure they are t3/t4

I'm running that mani right now. The one thing I dont like is the setup for the WG. Currently using an open dump tube but will be building a new DP it incorporate it. Other than that its not too bad. Using a Tial 38mm WG and no creep or spike problems. Goes to 8.7 psi (.6 bar) and stays there.

God help you if you buy that piece of s***. Simply, do not buy it.

Why not man? I used to hate on it too, but I did alot of research, and no one has had a problem with it other than one guy who had it leak because he couldn't tighten down all the bolts.

The only thing I see is the shape of the ports, but that may be a moot point depending if the ports are bigger than the ones i nthe head or not. If they are then sweet. Its' hard to tell from pics.

I wouldn't run it. I had one and sold it off. The runner design is horrible. They are small and not even aimed at the turbo. Runners 1 and 4 shot at each other and 2 and 3 curl back. Plus it's very thin and will crack. It's runs a T3 style turbo.
