ordering postive: guaranteed car, exact car you want (color, options), informed delivery date to sell current car and deal with all other car related hassles like insurance, NO TEST DRIVE MILES (i will be there when the tech takes it off the truck for the safety shake-down drive), no competing with other buys for the same car as the dealer takes highest bidder.
I can deffinently see why you would want to order your car. I would to but then it is like they have you by the balls when time come to deal on price.
i will ask for 2% off sticker (about $500) when it comes time to deal with price and value of my trade in. if they say no, i will say lets compromise. Its highly unlikey i will trade in my car so they will not be making any money off that and basically i should get atleast $250 off if not $500. my sales guy is easy going and we get along well. i think i can work something small out, hopefully.

ordering negatives: the anticipation, the higher sale price.
yeah, if you special order a car, it is the set price. usually msrp. keep in mind though. invoice to msrp markup is only around 1500-1600.
anyone found pics of the interior yet?
i hope i like the seats as much as i like the seats in the ms3 now
Ha! Does anyone know where this pic originates from? I just noticed that it's taken at Milan Dragway, my "home" track here in southeast Michigan! That seems a little strange if it's a corporate marketing/advert photo...

I'm also really interested to see these interior changes, thanks for keeping us posted Adam
