lol first off i didnt even know you could spend 60,000 bucks on a protege 5 or msp lol and no joke leave him alone cause if it blows your not going to lose any sleep so let it be.

No dude, I'm not trying to start s*** but I answered his first post to me and I'm trying to HELP him avoid a costly rebuild because of a cheapo part. I just hope he sees it that way...

I talk to my performance shop about these Item, and they straight forward told me, we don't need it, also they have heard bad things about it.. TBK have the record of the faster Protege, with SUPERPROTEGE, Owen had been boosting the hell out of his Ex-Protege for a long ass time, no problems with oil issues.. every single car is a complete different story, because you blew 3 engines does not mean its going to happened to me.. TBK had been developing these project from a long time, Manuel the owner is a ******* Genius of how to build these proteges like no one out there, he have done everything custom and well taking care of every aspect and replace every week part for a strong durable ones, we have change everything that we knew it was going to brake or not last, these engine it's build from top to bottom with the best s*** out there, these engine and Tranny were build to take punishment and to perform good, as i said before if we didn't install it was for a reason, not because it was cheap or expensive, we didn't want to use it.


these is for some member that said that Cwill barely did 400whp,with the same turbo and setup i have. they just don't know, Cwill had a GT30 turbo, with Stock no port and polish head, stock cams, stock valves and springs, stock cam gears, and who knows what injectors, I have a GT35 600+ hp turbo, the head it's completely custom with stage 3 everything, overhead cams, adjustable cam gears, port and polish, 5 angle valve job, 1mm bigger ferrea titanium valves, double titanium valve springs, just the head costed me $ 3,100 dollars so i really hate when they tell me i didn't bought a cheap $ 300 part, Cwill was fast, i respected his job and was good, but these is a complete new story, im bigger better, and stronger in Engine setup build related, i have no intention to be a dick or show off here, but how many GT35 turbo MSP are out there ? everybody were telling me i was full of s*** and that turbo it was too big and uselless, to just put a GT28RS, people GT28RS aint s*** next to a GT35 and im being serious, probably i don't know how to speak about cars and hardcore parts like you guys do, but i know what i have and how it's running, honestly how many MSP's, proteges have you seen with all of the s*** i've done ? so how can you tell if what i have is a peace of s*** or not the right setup if there is none out there ? im not getting deffensive im just tire of these bulls*** about me lying and being full of s***, if you guys think what i have is s***, well Drop 22k in your protege and lets see if you can come up with something better..

that thread is old ass hell, i didn't even have half of the stuff i have know, my engine and tranny is ready to make Serious numbers now. men if you guys haven't been in a 397 whp car you have to, cause honesltly anything over those numbers is just ******* crazy either way i'm going over it just to have fun since we've done everything to achieve these numbers it is a crime that you have everything ready to hit that hi and dont do it. he was talking about when i had my stock msp turbo boosting 26 psi....

Awesome Build! I'm subbin' for dyno numbers and video! I'm proud it's a Titanium Speed and that someone is soo dedicated!
 
I would like to know what the pros/cons are to having this awr oil pan...

It's baffled for one, so the oil doesn't "slosh" out of the pan when you take a hard corner, it's deeper, so even with just 1 quart of oil in it, your pickup is completely submurged, and it's BIGGER. It holds an extra 1.5 quarts I think. More oil means cooler oil.

I'm not trying to be confrontational over a ******* $300 oil pan, but all I'm saying is that just because you don't "need" it, it sure as hell doesn't hurt. It's called protecting your investment...

I mean ****, tell me you did it for weight savings, or aerodynamics under the car, but please don't tell me that it's because "you didn't need it."

C'mon MAXX be my guess and post your list and pictures and how much you have invested, im curious and want to see what others have it's interesting to have a thread like these here !!!
 
He's just trying to tell you it's safe to get a baffled oil pan.

ON topic:

Car is nice, got to see it on the Dyno and it was pretty wicked how it would shift around once the turbo kicked in. Enjoy it Miguel, it's gonna be a blast to drive i'm sure. BTW Spain...i'm jealous it's really nice over there.

I'm at work, so I don't have time to do up a list for ya, but c'mon man. A LOT of people on this forum know my car, but here's a quick pic from 3 months ago of the engine bay. Only thing I've added since then are new ignition wires (Magnecor) but other than that, full built block (brand new, not rebuild) built tranny, custom turbo setup, you name it, this car's got it.

As usual, I'm here trying to get more knowledge on the FS motor, turbo builds, etc. It doesn't have to turn into a "my d*ck is bigger than yours", right? I mean, c'mon, I've only seen pics of both cars we're talking about, and BOTH look like awesome rides to me. Not to mention ya'll know about 20 times more about these motors than I do...play nice fellas. Not that I'm any kind of authority figure, but the one who can't play nice has to give up their car, to me!!!

I recommend you look into the AWR oil pan, I have one myself and its a very nice piece. The only problems I've heard people having were lack of room for a 3" downpipe thats it.

Well About Cwill i just said what i read with my eyes in a few threads of his, where he were saying he achieved 405whp with stock everything i mentioned.... I didnt make up that, he had it written in hes 405whp thread he had long time ago. if is not true or not i dont know but he had that in his thread thats why i mentioned, i dont even know him so.... about the dyno on race gas or not, i dont know, after waiting for the car 7 months the only thing i was worried is to take it home and drive, drive and drive that s*** before taking a plane here to spain, didnt even had time to scan the dyno or take videos of it, i just had a night to chill with my friends before departure to here to spain, the dyno sheet is in my cars glove compartment, like i said before everything i have said has come out Manuels Mouth, and hes not a lier, hes good probably the best on what he does, there is no intentions in here to lie or be a bad ass, but its really hard to keep it up with some fellas here, they just seem not to believe a damn thing, its like JDM said, better to keep it in private and just have fun with what you have, sometimes its better than putting these s*** to public. im not defensive in any way, just put my shoes for a second, everything i say and show in these forum they think its fake, useless or what ever, ive seen bulls*** threads but bulls*** ones and they dont say or get the way they jump on me. Fellas im sorry if ive been a dick im just exited about how my project its coming out, if some of you guys think its not posible or bulls*** its ok, for me it will always be the s*** !!!!! i just wanna make more friends of what i have, and no enemies which i dont want or have .....

Ya man I was jsut trying to tell the guy he should get the AWR pan to protect his engine, but all he hears is that I'm trying to knock his build... Whatever, it's his car.
