I'm pretty harmless. I just find it funny that people take other people's opinions so personally - especially over teh internets.

No one can tell you who you are and no one can make you a better or worse person. You are who you are and what people think of you is of no consequence unless you are trying to sell them something.
Then, all bets are off.

Wow, we are alot alike....(sssh)

Well, he would be a happier person in general if he wouldn't have a sour grapes attitude about every situation in which he perceives himself as being on the bottom of the pile.

I don't get ticked easily, but one of my pet-peeves is people that don't do their own work on their cars.
I HATE showing up to a local get-together or a show and, after asking someone about their car, get the "I don't know, I just wrote the checks!" response. I think anyone that doesn't do their own mods is a loser.

So, I equally hate being lumped in that category.
I violated my warranty the day I bought that car (well, really several weeks before when I already had a bunch of e-bay gems sitting in my living room, waiting for the car) and I never looked back.
I've cut, welded, riveted, painted, polished and glued nearly every inch of every car I've owned since 1987 and I'd never let someone else touch them - not even to change the oil.
Worse yet, I'm a huge Jew, so I'd rather walk a mile then spend a dime.(laugh)

why do that? 20b is way lighter than that aluminum block v8.
I am helping my neighbor with a '71 240Z LS1 swap right now though.
it will be a MONSTER.

Meh.
I guess I will post some pics of my car to enter, to my own embarrassment since my wife is now the primary driver of the mazda.
It is rare when the interior isnt full of school papers, gym clothes, or other stuff relating to the two year old son.
Nevermind the scratches from carelessly placed keys, boxes, and cut bumper covers from a sometimes thoughtless driver.
Yeah I am ready for ROTM I think.....

SO tired, sorry for the cynicism.

Because the V8 is more robust, gets better mileage, is cheap and doesn't require that you drive the car like an F1 sled to take advantage of its power.
I love the idea of the rotary and its sound, but the reality is one bad tank of gas means a toasted motor.
On the V8, it just means you can't beat that Veyron on that particular afternoon.

I see the Drama continues to unfold... What a waste of HDD Space...

No drama. We're just fooling around. Unless you have something better to contribute, why don't you just relax and enjoy the show at a safe distance from your keyboard?

Actually a lot of drama. This isn't the thread for that. You submit your pics, answer a few questions if they come up and that is it. Then members don't have to shift thru 10 pages of garbage to see the submissions. So enough with the posting please. I'm going to see if I can get at least half this thread cleaned up.

I don't really see any drama. We just really discussed our opinions on certain things and thats about it. Plus people will be able to see the submissions when the voting thread starts in a few days. I don't think people really sift through the submission threads. They wait for the voting thread.

Exactly.

Or you could avoid being a colossal douche and just ask the offenders (such as myself) to simply remove our nonsense.

We were just having a barroom conversation. Just because you came into the middle of it doesn't make it irrelevant to anyone other than you.

Your comedy is over welcomed now. Just shut up already and quit replying to everyone. You have become quite annoying already.

Hey DeadGeneration, how do you like the illumina/ground control setup? I was looking into that as it would be cheaper than going with full-out coilovers. I'm curious also as to why yo aren't lower
