RE-Amemiya MS3

Ken, find the kit that makes my car like the yellow one (bumpers and sides and hood with those vents) and I will put it on my AMEX TODAY. I don't like the red car in the least, but I have been trying to get the yellow look for months and just can't fricking find the parts...

Thats because its a concept and most likely not available. Mazdaspeed Japan does not have it in their catalog. Bodykits.com has it pictured but they dont make it.

So THAT'S why bodykits.com has been so wishy-washy with answers. DAMNIT! I wonder if I can have someone custom-fabricate the kit with my money, then we each have a 'stake' in making it a full-market item and split profits? Seriously, Ken, do you know anyone who's interested in a venture like this? Limited run of MS3 prototype all-around body kits??

i would need to have or be in touch with someone who can make a mold or have access to the molds.

Hmm; well, you have a better chance on knowing/accessing someone like this than I do... I can ask some friends though, I know a buddy who is very into the tuner scene in Indy with his SRT-4. If we could hash an outline for this as a little short-run limited production product I would be down; it's worth it, that yellow prototype is SO hot.

I'm very curious if they've addressed the issue of water intrusion with that hood scoop, or if you're just never supposed to drive it in the rain. Too much water through the intercooler on top of the valve cover = fried coilpacks.

That add on to the rear spoiler on the red and yellow one would look tight on my White Speed!

A naive question, if you don't mind: can the coilpacks be moved? Perhaps a shield of sorts?

I don't think it would be easy. Probably you could get a separate set of coils, you know the ones that use spark plug wires but no old school ignition, and hack up some wire harness to the stock signal wires that go to the original ones. May be really difficult, if not impossible.
