well, you're going to want to rev up to 2500-3000rpms to get the turbo spooling. then you release the clutch quickly but still steadily (don't just DROP it) until it's fully engaged. shift at about 5000rpms to get to 2nd gear...then 5500-5700rpms thereon out. the reason for all the short shifting is because we have mid-ranged turbos, so we actually lose boost at about 5500rpms.
keep in mind that our traction control and DSC will work against you, so make sure to turn DSC off. if you want traction control gone too, you have to hold the DSC button while the car is still off and then start the engine as you hold the button. when you do this, both will be disengaged. remember: we are torque limited in 1st and 2nd (to a lesser degree) gears, so get out of first gear early (that's why 5krpms).
by the time you get good at the 1/4 mile, you should be able to get up to about 100mph as you cross the line in the mid to lower 14 secs. this, of course, will take some practice before you're able to do that. have fun and make sure to be safe about where you try this...;o
