Let's not threadjack, but less restriction is not always better, but this is surely a typo. The tubing size wants to be such that velocity is maintained to help scavenge, but 2" is much too small.

This is all well & good but it should be called MS3 + or maybe MS3 GT. The current ride of the month is the one that deserves the "MS3 Xtreme" designation. It kicks the Aussie one's ass.

They do have pollution laws and use catalytic converters in Oz,too (http://www.science.org.au/nova/015/015print.htm). So, that can't be it.
And the car that's ride of the month isn't a Mazdaspeed, so maybe "Mz3 Extreme".
