any stock ms3's running 13.7 or faster?

How about this. (fu)

See ya at the track. More to come you better believe it. If anyone needs advice on how to make there car go fast ask Laloosh he knows all. LOL

see me at the track? lol Ill be at cecil october 3rd, your more then welcome to come lol
if your a drag racer for years and know so much you would realize that the car makes more boost in 5th rather then 4th, thus making more power in 5th rather than 4th. You would also realize that you tiny as 16 in wheel DRASTICALLY shortened you ratio allowing you to shift into 5th way earlier and riding it out. Either way you gotta shift into 5th, the earlier you can do it the better it is. what was the tire size you were running, width and height, probably what? 205 55 16? Also still wiating for a break down the time slip

oh and right back at ya(fu)

Im done with you. I gave you more than I needed too. Proof of my time with a bone ass stock mp3. DONE DEAL. 13.7@99.96 on 16inch wheel and tires mounted on the front at 15psi. 225/50/16 tires. Almost same exact size as stock for height. Your a clown quit digging for something to make you feel better about me running so close to you with way less trap. LOL

first off the wheel is 3% smaller than stock. So when im trapping 103 and running the stock diameter your running at 106-107, it makes a differnce. The reason i want to see your slip is because i want to see what happened after the 60. You said you got a 2.05 60, i got the same 60, what happened in the middle, trust me i know how to shift the car. 13.7 @ 100 with a 2.05 and a 13.6 @ 103 with a 2.05 would be intresting to compare. so just post it

Funny thing is its obvious what happened. Someone just was shifting faster and at the right rpm's. If your so good with math you would know that.

why cant you simply post a scan of you slip with the 2.05 60. I watched the video, i find it a little odd how your car jumps of the line and only managed a 2.05 60, my car doesnt lurch like that and i got the same 60, but than again it could be just the camera angle. I know how to shift the car, i know where to shift the car, if i didnt i would not trap what i trap. just post your timeslip instead of arguing. 60 330 1/8 1000 1/4 its very simple to do.

your first run. 13.89 @ 96, you reazlie thats something a 1.8-1.9 60 foot would do right? You also realize that something a stock ms3 on sticky tires would do. A stock wrx hits those kinda traps and ets with 1.8 60s. Your 2nd run makes more sense, but i still wanna see the slips

Driver311 no one is stating that you didn't drive the car that fast but laloosh has a point with the tires....that aside we gave you props for being able to drive. If you want to shut us up either post the slip if you have it....if you don't then fine we'll leave it at that. there was really no reason to get angry or post what you did at all lashing out at laloosh...he made a valid point with the wheels/tires and simply is requesting a time slip which I see no reason why you should not be able to provide it. You know the old saying proof is in the pudding....well we need some more pudding buddy! :)

once again I state that you are a good driver I have seen you around the srt boards and you are respected...I am not trying to be a naysayer either...if a stock well driven ms3 with just the added wheels/tires you have went that fast......then everyone had better watch out for them at the track as they are going to be just as deadly as the srt4 was.

Thanks,
Patently waiting for a time slip

i not trying to take anyhting away from him, i want to see hwere i lost the time, trapping 3mph and only going .1 fast with the same 60. It certainly wasnt in the back half. My 1/8th was 8.8.

he never amswered my question either. Will 15'' wheels fit on the ms3? If so that is the first I have heard of it.

just bolted up the wheel and spacer and it fit, barely.

wheel was trak light 15x7 with h@r 1 1/2 spacer and it barely fit. I tried 3 other wheels and this was the only one that fit. So its an expensive setup but will be an only choice. No slicks in 16s fellas. Sorry to burst your bubbles but i was on street tires. Not even a good drag radial in a 16s either. Its either 15 or 17. lame. but I have found a way to make it work.

how far does it stick out past the fender? Any chances of rubbing if you miss a shift or shut down? What size slicks are you doing, what are you doing for motor mounts? Slicks on the stock pos rear mount sounds like an engine doing a blackflip

btw can you post the slip already?

i need popcorn , it's been a while since I watched a good soap opera. There are so many variables, elevation, track temp, track prep . **** who cares , you guys are getting the most out of the cars and keep doing that , there s always gonna be some exaggerations here and there, besides I ran 13.03s stock the other day. (clarification, I did run two space-saver donuts up front for weight savings and I pre-soaked them in VHT along with spraying the rear tires with Pam for less drag before the run.) all in all I am happy, and oh yeah my scanner is broken so no timeslips.

are you simply not posting your timeslip on purpose?

I would love too, but I dont know what the **** I did with them. I think they are in my truck and my ol lady is out hot rodding the crap out of it. LOL. Ill post them when I come across them. The only thing I truely remember was my 60ft trap and et. I do know that I was short shifting big time. 5600-5800rpm shifts. What about you?

yea i shift right at 5800 and i think i lil lower ont he 4-5 shift. Im just really curious to see what happens btwn the 60 foot time and the 1/4. On that 13.89 run was that one of the runs you left it 4th? cause your trap speed was really low for a 13.89

I shifted to 5th but too late. at like 6200
The runs all before that were in 4th. Last two in 5th. I was just learning the car. I think there was more in it but didnt have a chance to prove it. Im gonna run the car saturday with ALL the stock tires, 20psi in fronts, the test pipe and hole in the intake box only.Im thinking 13.4@ 104ish. I will for sure keep you posted. Ill save the slips for you too.

now that really makes no sense, i shift into 5th at like 93mph, if i leave it in 4th my car dies and feels like the two front tires went flat.

Good luck on the 13.4 but i think that whishful thinking. Im going this wednesday and im going for a 13.4 @ 105ish, i have added a mbc and i swear the car really woke up.

Run 20psi spikes falling off to around 18 and ice the intercooler good between runs and I guarantee you will trap atleast 106. Mayber even 108. YOu seem to be a decent driver. Just dont lift and the traps will come. My traps were low because of the low low pressure I was running. I think on my last pass I was at 12psi or something around there. Killed my trap. Keep that foot planted and give here hell. If you think your lean at 20psi run a few gallons of sunoco 110 with some pump. Good to go. Let me know how you do. I think you underestimate how fast this car is gonna be.
