The pennies have been saved the MS3 is mine!
I am looking for the invoice price for a Mazdaspeed3 sport model no options.

Where exactly does edmunds list invoice price? All it seems to do for me is get me a quote from the dealer. I did that and the dealer said I could get it for 500 over invoice. So now I want to find the invoice so I don't look like a fool when I talk to the dealer.

Edmunds.com->New Cars->Mazda->Mazdaspeed 3(2nd page)->Sport model-> there ya go. For 2008 it's $20,898 or $21,493 with destination charge.

How do you talk a dealer into giving you a better deal than msrp?
I have gotten about 6or so quotes, and most say at mrsp, then others say there are added fees making it like 23800 or something.

I don't have a clue. I just went on Edmunds, asked for a quote from local dealers and the dealer emailed me saying he would do 500 over invoice. I just put that I would pay with cash and that I have no trade in. But I fully suspect to get hit with the extra fees when I go in there. I was just getting a feel for the market though. I wont have the money till spring time.

i paid 27,020, but mines fully loaded, navigation is like a cell phone i never thought i would want it now i dont see how i lived with out it..lol

$500 over invoice isn't bad, and should be under MSRP significantly. I'd jump on that deal if I were still shopping. I paid MSRP for mine but got them to give me a great deal on my trade in.

Yea the dealer guy that contacted me said that he would be able to give me an even better price like 200-300 over invoice in the spring. Sounds good to me. I will see what happens in the spring time I guess.

I don't know where you guys live...nobody in Atlanta is doing under MSRP for Grand Touring models, not sure about Sports. They don't discount cars unless they need to. Apparently here there is a pretty high demand.

Minnesota dealers are pretty willing to go below MSRP, in fact one even offered $750 below MSRP without me even asking for a good deal. I ended up using that offer to get $1150 off.
