I'm a doctor, but I prefer to drive my MP5 its in a class of its own, nothing says zoom zom like a MP5, its got a heart of a sports car! man I love it!

Waiting list is almost 4 years, and not to be a stickler but I don't see mike being able to afford that car. Mike you're better off getting the new BMW M3 with teh V8 (thumb)

well i talked to the sales manager today, he was preatty cool he did not judge me by my age. We kind of agrred on something like this, i have not yet accepted but the offer is like this. First i had to give him a check for 5 grand just to be on a waiting list. he says that all are not sold. after igave him the check i went to his office and the secrcetary brought me some coffee. he asked me what car i drive, i told him a 06 mazdaseed6 and a 07 cx7, he was those are really good cars! i took my speed to see the car, the guy sent my car for the appreisal and came back with this offeryou car is worth 21,500.00 we can take it for 28,000.00 since that is what you owe. the cx7 holds value and i was getting 3,000.00 equity! WOOHHOO he told me that if i wanted the car its going to be 20,000.00 down but i orready had 3k down so i need the difference. and for a 27 month lease the payment is going to be 1,300.00 + tax and blah blah blah a month negotiable. Not bad i called my insurance agent and he was not able to give me a quote since the car was not in their system. so i would hear from him latter. after all that he told me, whe would you be ready to sing? i said this is a mayor purchase for me and i will have to see my options and think about it. he said well you got one under your name orready, just waiting for you to sign...... he kept the 5k i gave today and if i don't buy it ill get it back! so i guess ill just have to think about it really hard!

To be entirely honest, I don't believe you would get your 5,000 back. Places like that usually keep the money, the 5,000 is to guarantee you a spot on the list so you are guaranteed a car.
I guess the way I'm looking at it is like this...... it's a non-refundable deposit. Meaning they keep the 5,000 just in case you wasted their time. Ya know?

Well the way I see it, is that the waiting list is 2 to 4 years (I found out from Audi)
So if mike puts his 5k down to get on the list, and then waits for 2 to 4 years to get a car.... the value of his MS6 and CX7 will depreciate in that time....
Especially if you consider the speculation and talk about Mazda releasing a new for 2009 mazdaspeed6 (with talk about a V6 twin turbo, yum yum).
So, just hypothetically thinking, if that DOES happen, and we'll say mike waits 2 years at most and they call him to get the RS8.....
unless you got a guaranteed contract in signing saying this is how much they will give him for his cars when the car becomes available for him to purchase
you can bet that the dealer is going to give him LESS money for his cars when the time comes around to get the Audi..... I've worked at a "stealership" all they care about is getting the most money, not about your well being. (ugh)

Its an R8, the RS8 is the fat looking one...in both terms, physically and ghetto (cool).
Yes, I dont know how that will happen with the depreciation and all.
I do know stealers like to bump the price of the appraisal just to get a sale. I remember getting a free appraisal at CarMax of my mazda3 just so I could blackmail the Mazda Salesman if he decided to give me less for it, knowing that the salesman spoke spanish (yet pretending I didnt know about that) I said in spanish to my old man, who was with me that: "I would buy another car if they gave me less for the Mazda3, we could go check out the dealership next to us [VW] for a GLI/GTI or something"...the salesman paniced and replied in spanish "Nah, you dont want that, those cars will give you a headache"... lol then he went and talked to the appraisal guy, I guess salesmen share some of their commission with the appraisal dude if he manages to help them out on the sales by bumping the price...
point is, i ended up paying 0 downpayment for the MS6 GT. And he bumped the appraisal value by a grand, which is what I/they needed to get 0 downpayment. They'll do it, i guess mike just needs to verify that.
And mike, its ALREADY not ORREADY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you dutch bastard!
