I miss Puerto Rico

Hola!
I have never seen so many Mazdas as I do here!
Not to mention the fact that everyone and their abuela has cheesy looking rims, ricey wings and lowered til they scrape over los muertos!

I am eating so much it's not funny!
Lets see, mofongo, pasteles, pollo carbon, pinchos, amarillo, sorullitos y mucho mas!

Hoping to go to HIN here and/ or maybe a racetrack.
Leaving Vega Baja today for Humacao.
Spent last week on the beach in Boqueron staying in Cabo Rojo.
So empty cuz school started here already. We had the whole beach to ourselves. Water was so warm.

Pictures coming when I find a USB cord....

Hola!

Head out to one of the drag meets and you'll sh!t yourself at the number of mazdas, or mazda powered vehicles they run out there...

they brought a bunch of them over to australia last year for a meet....some hot hot hot cars =)

Yo crazee watch out for the cops in Humacao, they like to shoot people for no reason till they are dead. But como jode que no puedo comer sorullitos......you suck, lol. PICS MAN!

Mazdas f'in own3 PR.Lots of the good tuners down there work with them, rotors specially. El dengue, Sakura, yiyito, that guy in bayamon...Dr.Rotor is his name?

So this is the Miss the island thread, cause if so, add me to it!! Lived 23 years over there, I learn all I know about cars over there with my uncles. I miss la Calle en Mayaguez, el colegio the most. Ahh y las medallas a peseta, wtf, eso no se da todos los dias!!! I still have one here, havent opened it in 4 years lol!! Oh and bayamon, the City of shopping malls, where I was born. Hopefully I get to go this xmas, visit some fam. I'll be more than glad to see some mazdas kicking it down there!!!

anybody with a first gen MX6? Love to see that...

Check out mx6.com for the mx6 crowd, good peeps, carros chingones.

A pues bien, I know who you are....and you probably know who I am, lol. mx654321, aunque no les caigo bien a muchos ahi, me la pelan, cuz I really don't care. Me la paso mucho mas tiempo aqui que aya ahora que tengo el Protege5. Pero de vez en cuando entro aya. Pero que es lo que tiene ahora el 6? Yo tengo un second gen mx6. Love it, pero el P5 has more "pep" if you understand me....

oh and the mechanical engineering department is full of girls now! when I did my BS there were only like 5 of them lol!

Oh man, I am missin it right now

I hear things are rough in PR these days too.

I was chatting on IM today with Protege5 Driver out of Trujillo Alto.

My dad lives in Jardin de Bairoa, Caguas. He says that things in PR have changed ALOT. He wants to move over to where I live in FL. It's just having to convince his wife who has a sick mother to move here too. But he says that its not been the same since he first moved back there several years ago. Crime being worse than its been in years there too doesn't help. He doesn't go toward any of the downtown areas at night anymore and avoids crowds.

yea, puerto rico is very rough right now. last time i went i almost got jumped for asking directions.

but other than that, the island is beautiful, but crime is a major factor. i would never live there, i will visit again. i have a lot of family in the southern part of the island. Villalba, Juana Diaz, Ponce, Salinas, Caguas, a few other places.

I've been back for a day and already I've seen 2 laser blue P5s... I miss my car

On the other hand I'm glad I cant easily bring my car over, roads here are so bad, it would loose its nose in a week, not to mention rattle everything loose including me.
