What have you done to your P5 today?

My boss did that in his 96 Miata, but for a longer drive time. His rotors were glowing when he got out of the car!

uhh did something stupid today... >< my e-brake was on for like a mile after i left school...i disengaged it but the light was still on..i wiggled it and the light went off. i was wondering why the hell is it bogging down so much on the freeway >< i hope my baby is alright. didnt see any smoke but i'm not sure. so stupid of me.

I take it you don't engage your brake fully then... becuase I literally would drag my rear wheels if I were to go some where. I know this becuase my girl did that to my car and put flat spots on my rear tires!!! Later on I she relased the break a little but not fully and went though pads and rotors! lol

i was looking at teins but then i'd need new struts too and i'm a poor college kid :-\

why would you need new struts?

i have tein S-tech springs on stock struts and i have had no problems with them....i have had them on for over 40,000 miles with no issues at all....

so not sure where you got the idea you need new struts if you get tein springs.

you can probably get a set of new Tein S-tech or H-techs for $100 if you go to the right place....you know of the place i speak of......(burnout)

I've got probably 60,000 miles on lowered springs and 93,000+ total on stock struts. Mine still seems to ride allright......

I agree with both of you. When Bill lowered our P-5 with eibachs at 20 thousand miles, He was told that we would need new struts very soon. We now have almost 128 thousand miles and still running stock struts.

I guess the stock struts are better than most people thought.

istalled my new wheel...matches my silver/black leather interior (why i didn't take a pic of the seats i don't know why???)

Oil filter and change. First time I have done this on any of my cars. Why I never did in the past, I will never know. Took me about 30 minutes but that inlcudes a trip to Autozone to get a new drain plug. Reason was the last shop to do it, lost/never replaced the crush washer.

Then took a drive with the fam to Martin's Creek to watch my bro-in-law and his Blue Mountain Baseball team repeat as Champs!!!!

After dinner she gets a well deserved bath.

that interior looks great.

Pulled my back muscles installing my intake tubing. this makes me feel so old!

I visited my car at the body shop and they keep throwing in surprises on me. They fixed my rear door and front bumper(damage from when I purchased the car), rock chips... and god only knows what else by the time I get my car.

I wish I could get those kind of surprises :(

Maybe today I'll put my new roof rack fillers on and the Walboro fuel pump. I need to stop being lazy.

Didn't wash her like I planned too. I went to the garage and realized I ran out of soap the last time I washed the cars...DOH!

I did put some new bolts on my heat shield though. Sanded and painted them earlier in the day. Some of the paint did come off when I tightened them down so I will use a small brush to touch them up. Beats having the rusty ones on there.

Hmmm...not sure I can say the red-painted bolts looks all that good. I think black would look better, but that's just my humble opinion.

I like the Tribute wheels though!

Yeah, black would look good but I like how it turned out. I think they will compliment the red piping on my intake and the red (when I get it painted) valve cover. For contrast I was thinking of painting the bolts for the valve cover black...possibly the letters to????

I appreciate the honesty and the compliment on the wheels!
