Just a question, Im not to sure if this question has been answered already, but:

What would be the best suspension set up for the Speed3? Stock is nice, but i just feel like im too high off of the ground.. lol

Just wanted to know if the Mazdaspeed springs would help me feel a difference in ride height.. Im sure there will be a difference in cornering, but how good are the Mazdaspeed springs for the Speed3? Is it comparable to any other aftermarket spring set? or would the aftermarket be better??

I would think that if Mazda creates a lowering kit for the mazdaspeed3 in the factory, it would make the best match for our cars.. but i'm not sure....

Trying to decide if i should break the factory warrantee by going aftermarket, or keeping the warrantee and going with the Mazdaspeed lowering kit.. (I'm trying to keep the warrantee for as long as i possibly can)

All help is greatly appreciated!! Thank you!!!!

Peace.
RJ

Are they the best for this car? Hard to say. Are they good? IMO yes, very good. They are a performance spring first, cosmetic spring last. Roadmagnets, Eibachs, and the like lower much more so.
I'd say about .5-.75 inches total lowering. The stock springs are linear. The Mazdaspeeds are progressive. To me, they actually ride better than the stock ones. The only time they feel harsher is when I go over train tracks or expansion joints. I am very happy with the results.

Not cheap. I think they were around $370 but come with camber links. I got them from Ron Tonkin

Unless you have a suspension related problem, springs will not void your warranty! Some dealers can be very finicky though!

mazdaspeed spring ftw....not a big fan riding in my car like bubblehead...and going over speed bump 2 mph....ms springs have just a good enough drop and great upgrade over stock.....
