Opinions plz - aftermarket grill/emblem

Yea... because of the quality of after market parts sold, I am keeping mine stock and actually looking for another stock one, which I think you posted in my thread about.

No, I don't like it at all. The 5 is too big, and the grille fits like crap. Sorry, but I gotta be honest. I like the idea, but the fittment of that grille makes it look bad. I like willkill's idea, but only if the Protege5 badge was about half the size of the one on the rear hatch.

i like the idea, and the 5, but yeah, like everyone else is saying, it obviously doesnt fit.

personally, i dont like those protege5 grille in those photos up there. it just looks like it doesnt fit...

Thx for everyone's input. Im going ahead with the grill and '5'. Im painting the hood latch today and Im gong to see if I can work on the fit as well. Like I stated the grill was screwed down it was just sitting in its place. I have a few ideas to try.

it looks pretty good, the fit isn't perfect, but i dig the 5 (2thumbs) good call on not doing the mazdaspeed emblem like everyone else.

I've got mixed feelings about that. I like the concept, and at first look it was hot...but now that I've looked at it a couple times, it looks like your car has a booger
