Anyone got over 493 miles on a tank yet?

I just read that someone with a CAI said they were avg 34mpg at 70mph. Anyone with a CAI have a chance to do a steady pull of a full tank without boosting to much? I figured it out and at 34mpgx14.5g(Tank Size) = 493 miles.

Anyone really push it yet on a trip or just to see? Thats some crazy distance to go between fillups, especailly for a car that can hit 100 in 13.x seconds.(laugh)

i havent even seen a 300+ mile tank yet.

During a road trip I did some nearly 100% highway driving. Car only had about 700 miles on it at the start, and 200 miles with MS CAI. Kept it pretty restrained while driving, typically 75-80, but usually with A/C on. Got between 25-30 mpg, calculated the old-fashioned way. Still don't feel that comfortable driving once the fuel indicator hits zero, so the most I filled up was 12.86 gallons.

So no, I haven't seen anywhere near that. Haven't even broken into the 400s, and probably never will.

Best I ever got was around 350 miles on a tank but it was all highway average speed around 80mph

Same here. I think the most I've ever put in my tank is about 13 gallons. My trip computer regularly reads about 26-28mpg. No where even near 400 miles on a tank. Most of the time its under 300.

I love it. The best ive seen from a tank is 260, normal is 240-250. Oh did i mention i drive like ive got somewhere to go.

without my CAI i would totally pack the tank, and the fuel before next fill up reads sometimes as high as 410. I usually got around 350-370 a tank normal 70-75 highway driving per tank if i dont rail on it. ill let you know how well the CAI adds to the fuel economy in a few weeks after a few fill ups and the computer adjusts.

my MS3 drive the three miles to work it barely gets warm in that and i idle my car before and after about a min that eats my gas. O I also dont let gas get below 1/4 of a tank beacuse your fuel is hellping to cool your pumps and if you get below a 1/4 your more likely to pick up cantamination thats in tanke into the filter. you should also remove a gallon from calculation for resurve and unusable fuel.

you wouldnt get much gas milage because you have about 300lbs of extra audio equip in you car

I know that was in jest...but in case you are curious it is about 120 lbs spread across the car, with about 90 lbs of that at the bottom of the trunk in the spare tire well. However, the spare tire is removed, as is all the other stuff there, so I saved that weight. I'd say the total increase in weight is around 100 lbs, 70 of that in the trunk (at the lowest CG point I could build it at.) This includes the 40 lb 10" Eclipse subwoofer. The rest is fiberglass lightness, and some bulky amps.

I get horrible gas mileage because I am a leadfoot.

I average 28Mpg and a average of 37Mph.I get just over 300 miles per tank on every tank full.I run the car pretty hard also with lots of boost time.I happy with these results.

Oh, and I had my car fully loaded, so was probably carrying a few hundred extra pounds.

highest I did was 402 a tank. I have the n/a 2.3
