2006 Speed6
Good Morning all. My name is Brian, 22 years old, from NJ, and I purchased a 2006 Speed6 GT, Velocity Red last night. If that might sound like an opening line from an AA meeting, its because I'm addicted to this MS6.

I've been following this car since August, and was in love with it before I even drove it. After driving it, OHMYGOD. Anyway, these leftover 2006's have been selling like hotcakes (Thanks Rebates). The dealer I went to had 8 06's last week, and now he is down to 1. Needless to say, there was no haggling allowed. I was also interested in the Speed3, but after talking to the dealer, I had to go Speed6. He was telling me how all the Speed3s he has sold, not one has been test driven because, literally, as soon as they came off the truck, they were bought. Plus, with the markup he was doing made it more expensive than the Speed6 after rebates.

But, I have been reading this forum since August, and I think this is the best forum ever. I have been on Cavalier, Honda, Toyota, and American car forums, and this is the most friendly, most helpful site I have come across. Good job Mods. As the magazines all say, the Speed6 is a "gentlemen's Evo" and this forum is definitely a bit higher class than the SRT4 and even the Speed3 forum.

I look forward to adding to the community, and participating in any NJ (or tri-state area) meets. I will post pictures after I take delivery, and after I figure out how to post pics.

Thanks for your time.

Welcome aboard ... I too picked up an MS6 - an '07 though - still breaking it in.

2007 Mazdaspeed 6 is not available in Whitewater pearl (or any white) so how is it possible you have an 07 white MS6?

No test drives before buying? lol that is just dumb.

Congrats

Its not that they dont offer them, its just that up until now, they have not needed to offer them because buyers just came in and bought it. One example he told me was a girl followed the delivery truck to the lot, and by the time the driver got the truck off the trailer, she was approved and drove it home. Thats not how I would ever do business, but some people have lots of money to blow.

I would never buy a car without driving it first.
