YES!finally a quiet exhaust

:
Protege,ES T
So I have a turbo Protege with 3" down pipe all the way back to the muffler, which was a vibrant oval exhaust,it was not super L O U D,but living in NY where the cops have quotas, they would just look for you to sneeze to have a reason to pull you over,so anyways I lookeD and look for months on end to see what other ppl. recommend and my final 2 choices were Vibrant 3" flat black and Apexi WS2,either on of these whould definitely have the vibrant ultra quiet resonator. I came this close to pulling the trigger on the Vibrant, mostly because of the price, but I thought I'd do more research on the WS2 altho this would be 300 bucks just for the muffler alone..........Anyways I went with the WS2 with Vibrant ultra quiet and all I can say is this is awesome!!! I have NO REGRETS what so ever. I would recommend this muffler to anyone,no drone,no shouting over the exhaust,it's so civilized this exhaust.I just now have to see after it"breaks in" if it will make any difference.......

The only real "issue" is that the muffler is kinda large but will fit, just take it to a PERFORMANCE SHOP with a knowlegable person and NOT to a regular muffler shop that will hack you s*** to death, but other than that you're golden

What 3" exhaust are you using? ive been thinking about getting the corksport 3" exhaust and getting the the vibrant #1147. Here in VA the cops will ticket you for exhaust, its the only reason im on the stock exhaust.

Im glad to hear you got good results. I am still debating on getting the corksport or getting a shop to weld something up for me. I feel like i will be spending about the same in the end.

Nice. Any videos?

No videos yet,I only got it installed last night....I'll tell you that some of the videos on youtube almost made me NOT buy the Apexi cause most of the videos on youtube are with Hondas and to me they always sound like fart cans.Hearing it in person is a whole diferent story

DO NOT GET CORKSPORT.......not because of the quality, they do make a good product but after calling CORKSPORT themselves,I would'nt go that route. Ideally,if you have some where that can build you a good custom set up I'd do that, just make sure u have a good resonator ( or 2) in there

There is a drift shop near by here that does a lot of fabrication. I've been there a few times, their work looks great but I have no idea about the price.

I'd love to see a picture of your exhaust.
About how much would be a fair price to get something put together? When it come to custom work i feel like its a shot in the dark to get an accurate price.

The thing is if I get the corksport I have a good idea of what I'm going to spend and I can have a friend do the welding needed in an afternoon.

I think a good guesstimate is around $800...to fab an exhaust for our car should not be hard at all. If you do get the CS I bet u gonna chop that loud ass muffler off

^This! The CS is a really nice piece but it has a couple issues that make me stay away. 1) I think it would be too loud for my taste 2) Iirc some people have had some drone with it 3) I need a 3" Cat back and the CS doesn't have a flange there. It's a nice piece but if I start by cutting it to make it a cat back then go back and change the muffler and/or add a resonator then I've put waayyy too much money into a couple mandrel bent pipes!

I am running the Corksport exhuast. It is real quite, with the cats and the silencer. I live in va and have gotten tickets with my integra. Never got a ticket yet, plenty of cops heard it, if they can. It can be noisy when running through the rpms. I am ready to remove the silincer since it is so quite.
