wind splitters are usually to keep air from sweeping under the car and producing lift but I think this one mainly protects the bumper from scrapes on lowered MP3/MSPs where it came stock

Yeah I highly doubt that it has much if any aerodynamic effect, but it kinda looks nice.

It is a good way to protect your front if the car if lowered. It takes all the hits instead of my silver bumper.

I think that's the first pic I've seen of someone who actually had that hood. It looks really good, but the scoop stands out a lot more than I thought it would.

Is the MP3 one just a piece of black plastic?

it is just a black chunk of plastic but it has a few bends in it to fit the underside of the bumper. I can take a few pics of my friends that is not installed yet and post them if you like.

daym i reallly like your front end. looks clean and how i want mine to look. cept i'd get the yellow fogs (glare)
