Would anyone do this?

I have a Alpine EQ, I think its a very good one too.
Its the ERE-G180, 11 band.
I don't know if this is the right place to post this cause its about the MSP, but would any of you guys getting the MSP install a EQ other then a Kenwood? I could sell it or something, but I say why sell it if I like it. Though, I don't want to look like an ass mixing a Kenwood system with a Alpine EQ.
Any thoughts would be great.
Also should I install it my self? I think I would be able to find instructions on-line somewhere, or is it easy to destroy the system or even the electric system for that matter? Thanks.

Don't worry your in the right forum.

What does the MSP have for a system. OBviously a deck sub and sub amp. Is there a door speaker amp also?

If not then the EQ is useless for the door speakers. The EQ only works on RCAs so an amp for the door speakers is required otherwise it will only work on the sub amp and the sub frequencies.

I don't think it will hurt the looks of the car at all. So what if its Alpine. If anything it shames the low end kenwood crap.

Oh, yeah that's right. Well I thought about & I agree, so what if its an Alpine. But hey, thanks for the reply.
Guess I'm in the market for a amp.......

You have to get a door speaker amp right away. The alpine is very effective with bass control. To be honest I'd rip out the hole damn Kenwood system before bothering with the the EQ if I were to buy it. But since you have it it shouldn't hurt unless you get some kind of funky ground loop problems that I have seen with that peice before.

Also you can Hide the eq somewhere to not break up the kenwood flow.

Not great to hear, so I did a little searching & found the
millionbuy_1714_13662813

& it looks much better then my Alpine. I can keep the Kenwood flow if I go this way & try to sell my Alpine.

As you can see I'm not very knowledgeable when it come to
audio systems, but some good instructions should fix that.
Do you recommend this or should I spend the money at a audio shop......?

The alpine is a far superior Peice.
The audio loops where very few and far between but have been known to happen a time or two. Its really not any more frequent then with any other processor.

Well then maybe I'll just save my money & keep the Alpine,
I always knew it was a good EQ......Thanks
