Which rear strut mounts?

Hey all,

About to do the job on wife's 2000...
Any comments on KYBs? I hear they are OEM quality and they go for about 25$...
Steel thickness same as factory ones? Do they last?

Any input is welcome!

If everything else is stock, I'm sure your wife will be happy with the KYBs. They produce a ride that is very close to OEM. I've had them on my MX6 GT for about 6 years and they are holding up just fine. I do wish they were a bit stiffer, since that car is lowered on Eibach springs but for a stock ride height Protege, they will most likely be satisfactory.

Side note: Were you referring to the struts or just the mounts? If just the mounts, disregard what I posted.
