when buying lowering spring for the MSP, which ones do you buy?
ive looked around and i have only seen springs for the P5.
can we use these or is there a different spring specificly for the MSP?

It just depends on what brands you want to get. you have eibach, spool, h&r, tein, sprint, intrax, dropzone(cheap ass springs) I think that is it. But any one of these springs should fit the mazda speed with no problem. Now the only question you should ask your self is if you want handling or looks.

maybe i need to rephase my question.
when i look into the aftermarket springs, they only have part numbers for the P5.
would the msp be able to use those springs?

From what I've heard, yes. But then again, I'm not technically an expert:)

YES! every 3rd gen protege is built on the ES chassis. some of the only things that aren't interchangeable are the body parts, and some engine parts (cuz of turbo). this means that suspension parts are cross platform.
