What is this?

It vents to both atmosphere and recirculates to the intake... It says "50/50", so I would assume that its an even dispersal of both. Some of them are adjustable, so that you can adjust how much is recirculated versus how much is VTA... It's a TurboXS and says "50/50" so I doubt it's adjustable...
 
Is there any benifit to it? Will it cause a bad idle or have stalling issues with the maf not being relocated?
 
It has the potential to. If it's not adjustable, I'd say more than likely, yes. Idle shouldn't be an issue, though.
 
So what would you suggest? Something like what's in the link, a recirc bov, or a turbo smart bpv? I just want people to be able to hear it, I'm not expecting or looking for a performance gain with it. And I can't use a vta bov due to not being able to relocate my maf.

If anything is gonna work it's gonna be that.. Or at least one like it... I mean if you get it and it doesn't work (causes hesitation/stalling) then you could always resell it... Or, find out if that one is adjustable... If so, then you could elimate the risk of stallling/hesitation, but it might lower the VTA air to such a point that you can't hear it when it's vented. I've never actually seen one of these used- both style and specific part- but I know how it works.
