What is everyones future plans for their P5?

A little bit of show...a little bit of GO....

so far I have only added the intake, the exhaust, the shifter and the bushings...and a mild upgrade to the audio system....

Near future mods....new wheels/tires....

i am what I consider one of the lucky ones....my P-5 is not my main means of transportation...its my toy. I have a P/U for driving back and forth to work and to get out in the nasty weather with so I can keep my baby in the garage and nice and clean....

for the future...I am going to wait a bit....for any other mods...If I decide to keep the p-5 as my toy....I will end up doing a complete suspension upgrade to something like the MSP's.....there is also a good chance I will end up with a turbo after all the bugs get worked out of the currently available systems.

other than that.....I plan on keeping the outside all stock....nice quiet little sleeper.

i want to turn my P5 into an autocross god. this year as soon as i pay off my stuff i am doing suspension and brake work... here is a wish list:

13 lb flywheel
short shifter
steel braded brake lines
slotted cross drilled ventalated rotors
performance brake pads
mazdaspeed adjustables or racing beat shocks
urethene motor mounts
tinted windoes
clear turn signals
pole postion potenzas
racing hart wheels

or Spoolins kit with E-Manage

future upgrades

FM Turbo Kit and Turbo Exhaust.
I got the coin, but 2 things are holding me back.
Knowing that I will be saying bye bye to the drivetrain warranty and knowing that I should pay off my student loans instead. So now it's just a question of when.

On a side note, I will also want to upgrade suspension to MSP level. The question I had is how much do you think that would cost?

As for any other upgrades... none.

I too plan to take the sleeper route.

Yeah!What's the deal with people who know they have a faster car revving thier engine when I'm stopped at a light? I've had 3000GT VR4's, Celica GT's, Eclipse GT's, just to name a few. I've had alot of people who don't know anything about imports ask me"Hey, what is that? Is it fast?" I reply "HELL NO! It just looks that way." Because of this I'm thinking of losing a few of my mods. It really pisses me off to know I can't even try to race them!
Wish at those times I still had my '93 RX-7!!! Can you say "school is in"?

IF and its a big IF...the Pontiac Solstice becomes a reality in the trim in which it appeared at the car show last year....

and at that time it was the plan....and the rumor is that it will go into producetion late 2003....

.i will be considering selling mine after its paid off....which will be the end of 2004. and getting a Solstice.

i've made a few basic mods, i'm now lookin to go turbo! i've got to have some more ponies! i'm not sure what system to go with...i leaning towards FM because of the miata history. i would bet they've got most of the kinks worked out when it comes to turbos and mazda motors.

Just today I was thinking about cutting the top half of the car off, lowering the spoiler and making it into a speeder like in Star Wars II Attack of the Clones. That would be cool. Then I could fly everywhere and not have to deal with all the traffic. I wonder if the gas mileage would be any better?

I am just going to put 17" silver 6-spokes on it as well as an Ingen CAI and an affordable exhaust kit.For the interior I just want to add RAZO Magnesium/Aluminum racing pedals, I want to change the shift knob but my dad won't let me(it's under his name).Exterior wise, I want to get it tinted and change the light bulbs to blue if not white.That's it!!!

hey pirana where the hell did u find an apc carbon fiber hood, and is it of good quality...if u know what i mean by that..also looks pretty tight.....i say u should keep the beast....looks like a show winner to me
