Weird !?

I have noticed something happening recently with the headlights whilst driving home in the evening.

The lights seem to dip, just for a split second, but they loose power.
I have sort of been experimenting with it for about a week and have noticed it does it when I close an already closed window, or when the fan comes on in the engine!
(Does it with the spot lights on and off!)

Now, I know it's been cold and I have just read the other post about the wonderful cranking amps the P5 has, but could this be the reason behind the dimming head lights?

It is very distracting when driving! - I'm wondering if one day they will just dim and go off all together!

Anyone else experiancing this?
Should I replace the battery?

(Thanks!)
:wtf:

i get it to.. i get it the most when my subs hit tho and thats just the draw from the stereo.. i usually get it if im rolling up like 2 windows at once.. i donno if there is a fix.. contact mazda -=)

Its normal nothing to worry about, anything that takes extra power will dim them for a second or two. Experiance this in other cars as well.

If you notice the lights dimming for just a split second and aren't sure why, it's probably the cooling fan turning on or the a/c compressor. These both draw alot of power when they kick in. This happens in most cars.
